Today I created a more detailed diagram of the process of digestion which was discussed in my nutrition class. The process of digestion is rather complex, and to me the best way to understand this process is to conceptualize it visually.
Looking at this image, in addition to the my experience of drawing it out, solidified my understanding in a way beyond what I could’ve achieved by reading text alone. It was fun coordinate each organ with whichever color I was feeling.
